UX Org. Vision

I set a design-led strategic vision for the business and evangelized User Experience throughout the organization. leading to a $2.5mm budget to build a team of 12, which quickly grew to 25+ researchers, designers, and strategists.


UX Team Process

As a team scales, it’s important to create a consistent experience for all our customers—internal and external alike. Mapping out a clear UX process provides clarity to how we work, and how other teams can integrate.

A happy team is a growing team. I worked with my team to co-create a unique development plan framework for our design organization.This led to doubling team satisfaction numbers, and faster internal promotions.

Design + Agile

Fusing strategic innovation, tactical design, and agile execution to scale UX implementation in an engineering-focused organization.


Design System

Working with product leaders, engineers, and designers to build a common set of design assets and code. The resulting system enabled creators to more consistent products, faster.


Innovation Accelerator

The Innovation Accelerator vision was presented to business leaders in order to transform our approach to R&D. By merging business strategy and design thinking, we’re able to validate new innovations earlier and increase our success-to-failure ratio.


Award Winning Innovation Team

Leading the vision, strategy, and execution of what would become an award-winning Innovation Lab in nine months, I assembled the Innovation Lab with three complementary parts comprised of a physical space, a digital portal and innovation process, and a cross-functional team.


Design Thinking Program

My team and I assembled an immersive training program for all GE Transportation employees to allow individual business units, project teams, and other groups to learn the value and how-to application of the design thinking approach in their everyday projects.

We partnered with the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) to explore new and creative ways to visualize decades of GPS data.

Vessel Desktop

An all-day discovery and ideation session with a new internal employee from an adjacent industry of seafaring vessels resulted in this proof of concept.


Smart Automotive Terminal

I led the efforts to revolutionize the shipping ecosystem through refining the overall process, redesigning the desktop tracking system, and building a brand-new mobile inspection platform.
