UX Organization Vision
Establishing and building the User Experience team at GE Transportation involved working with senior leadership, crafting vision, constantly building support, and building relationships.
Initial Vision
This presentation set a design-led strategic vision for the business and evangelized User Experience throughout the organization. This led to securing over $2.5mm in program funding to build a team of 12 UX professionals, which quickly grew to 25+ researchers, designers, and strategists.
The vision focused on mission, value of design, process and integration, and team structure.























Pivoting for Growth
As the team grew and the overall Digital organization matured, it became clear the design organization could better support our partners with some team changes. After working with stakeholders, I created an updated vision to build support across the organization.
This vision focused on importance of investing in design, and a new team structure to better deliver results.
